Kindergarten Newsletter

5/11/15

The school year is coming to a close and we are still busy working on various kindergarten concepts.  Please continue working on those sight words, reading and math skills.

Please help your child memorize their lines for the closing prayer service.

8^th Grade Carnival

The 8^th grade carnival is Friday, May 22^nd,f rom 10-12. There is Free Dress.  There will be many game booths and activities set up for all the students.  Food will also be available for purchase. Please send in $5-10 to purchase tickets and/or food.  Dismissal is at 12:30.

Kindergarten Memories DVD

We are making a Kindergarten Memories DVD.  These are available for purchase.  An order form will be sent out later this week.  Please return the form and money by 5/22.

Kindergarten Closing Prayer Service

Our closing prayer service is Thursday 5/28 at 8:30.  Children are to wear their Mass day uniform.  Dismissal is immediately following (approximately 9:30).  This is Kindergarten’s last day of school.

LAST DAY OF HOT LUNCH IS THURSDAY 5/21.  All remaining lunch and milk tickets will be sent home for next year.

Important Dates To Remember:

5/19  No Hot Lunch

5/20 No Hot Lunch

5/22 8^th Grade Carnival and Early Dismissal

5/25 No School

5/26  Classroom Clean Up Day

5/27 Kindergarten Field Day (free dress, with sneakers, bring a beach towel)

5/28 Kindergarten Closing Ceremony/ Last day of Kindergarten. 

Children are to wear their Mass day uniform. Dismissal immediately following Closing Prayer Service.
