10-10-15 Newsletter

Kindergarten Newsletter

Letter of the Week: Dd
Prayer of the Month: Hail Holy Queen

Rosary: During the month of October we pray the rosary as a school.  Please help your child learn how to move from one bead to the next and practice saying a decade.  This is a wonderful opportunity to brush up on our faith, start a family tradition and teach our children the importance of prayer.

Uniforms: Summer uniform season has been extended for an additional month.

Halloween Carnival: Thank you for bringing in the bags of candy.  Your help is greatly appreciated.  Also, stop by the classroom and sign up for a time to work at our class booth. This qualifies for service hours!

Box Tops & Labels for Education: Please clip the labels and bring them in to class. Every month the class that brought in the most box tops and labels will win one free dress day. Ask your friends and family to help you win!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip:  We will leave for Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch Wednesday morning right after morning prayer and return at 11:30.  Children may wear free dress that day but keep in mind we are outdoors on a farm.  Jeans would be best.

Reminders:
·      Only OLM uniform sweatshirts/sweaters can be worn at Morning Prayer and inside the classrooms.  Jackets may be worn during recess only.
·      Label all outerwear.  Remind children to put their sweater or sweatshirt in their backpack when not in use.
·      Bring 2 bags of wrapped candy and $2.00 for the Halloween Carnival.

Halloween Parade:
Children may wear their costumes to school on Friday October 30th.  The Halloween Parade will take place right after morning prayer.
