Sweatshirts and Sweaters:
Please label all sweatshirts and sweaters.  No iron clothing labels are a great way to do this.  You can write your child’s name on them, they stick on (no ironing), and stay on in the washer and dryer.  Martha Stewart makes a good one.  I got some at Staples years ago for my children.
Snack Money:
Please bring a labeled ziplock baggie with snack sale money for your child if you would like them to be able to purchase something on cookie sale or healthy snack sale days.  Many of you have already done so.  Several children need more money.  Come check with us and we will let you know  if your child needs more spending money.
Pet Photo:
Due Monday 9/28/15.  Please bring in a photo of your pet.  We are making a poster for the Blessing of the Animals Mass.

Last week
This past week we continued to work on classroom routines, letter recognition, numbers, shapes and color recognition.  We are learning how to read our color words too.

Snack Sale:
Occasionally there will be juice or snacks for purchase (.25-$1).  These are offered somewhat randomly throughout the year.  To make things easier for parents, we are willing to keep a baggie of loose change for your child here in our classroom.  Just bring in some loose change and we will put it in a baggie with your child’s name on it.  Then, when there is a snack sale they can decide if they want to purchase anything.
